Youthtainability: II Partners’ Meeting

On the 14th and 15th of May, DYPALL Network, Gyermek – és Ifjúsági Onkormányzati Társaság (GYÖT) and Detská Organizácia FÉNIZ, o.z, met in Veresegyház (Hungary) for the second partners’ meeting of the Youthtainability project.

The project, coordinated by GYÖT, focuses on youth work in rural communities and it has as objective to provide tool(s) for youth and Municipality workers to raise young people’s awareness about local governance and the importance of participation, fostering their sense of belonging.

The project aims at creating a tool for youth and Municipality workers to assess their understanding of the link between youth work and the sense of belonging that young people have for their communities, and some activities that would help them to foster this sense of belonging.

Part of this project will be a Study Visit in Hungary, in July 2019, where youth workers, Municipality workers and young people will have the chance to meet, exchange best practices, find solutions to common challenges, and visit interesting projects/initiatives in Southern Hungary.
