Activity

The training course “Rulebook for Decision and Policy Makers”, part of the project “How to Score a Youth Goal”, was held from 11 – 16 March 2024 in Maia, Portugal.

The primary objective of this training was to raise awareness among youth wing representatives of political parties and policymakers about the 11 Youth Goals in order to deepen their understanding of the challenges young people face in areas such as ‘Rural Youth’, ‘Quality Employment’, ‘Quality Learning’ and ‘Space and Participation for All’.

During the training, participants engaged in interactive sessions, workshops and discussions to deepen their understanding of the nuances of the Youth Goals and explore effective ways to address the identified challenges. Through a combination of theoretical frameworks, case studies and practical exercises, participants gained valuable knowledge to develop policies and make decisions that have a positive impact on the youth population.

Furthermore, the training fostered networking opportunities, allowing participants to exchange ideas, good practices and innovative approaches in the field of youth empowerment and policies. Leveraging the diverse skills and experiences of the participants, the training aimed to foster collaborative efforts towards achieving the goals outlined in the Youth Goals.

The project is coordinated by the Mreža mladih Hrvatske – Croatian Youth Network (Croatia), in cooperation with DYPALL Network, Bundesjugendvertretung (Austria), Conselho Nacional de Juventude (Portugal), Deutscher Bundesjugendring (Germany) and the researcher Ondrej Barta.
