Youth Democracy Academy – First transnational project meeting

Youth Democracy Academy project partners gathered from 15th-18th November 2021 in Öland, Sweden, to discuss the design of the “Youth Democracy Academy” program that will be composed of a series of training modules based on non-formal education methodology supported by a board game appealing to young people so they could explore the concept and values of democracy in an innovative way, tackling it from local, national and European perspective.

The program can complement the citizenship education program in schools or exist independently. It will be tested in a school in Sweden and a youth center in Italy in 2022.

The project consortium is composed of DYPALL Network, Ölands folkhögskola (Sweden), IntelliGames (Poland), and La Fenice APS (Italy) financed by Erasmus + KA2 innovation program through MUCF (Swedish National Agency)
