“Cities of Welcome” training course

Activity

The “Cities of Welcome” training course took place from 12th – 18th November in Cologne, Germany and it gathered 20 participants from Germany, North Macedonia, Portugal and Spain.

During the week the participants had the chance to discover quality policies, models and practices of young migrants and young people with migrant backgrounds participation in decision-making processes.

Emphasizing the benefits for both young migrants and their local communities, the partners shared the joint intellectual output, “Good practices of participation of youngsters with a migrant background and young migrants” as a key outcome of the project. This resource serves as a guide for municipalities and organisations, offering insights and assessment tools to implement inclusive practices and enhance the participation of young migrants at the local level.

“Cities of Welcome – Improving the Participation of Young Migrants at Local Level” is a KA2 Erasmus+ project between Migrafrica (Germany), DYPALL Network (Portugal),  Citizen Association United Youth (North Macedonia) and Fundació Catalunya Voluntària (Spain).
