“Involving young people into youth policy” training course

DYPALL Network was present in the training course “Involving young people into youth policy”, which took place in Daugirdiškės from 4th to the 11th of April, as part of the KA2 project entitled “Young Voices Up-graded”.

This training course was developed with partners from 5 countries – the Municipality of Vestfold (Norway), Institute for Policy Research and Analysis (Lithuania), Institute for Youth Policy (Slovenia) and the Regional Office of Izmir (Turkey), besides DYPALL Network from Portugal.

This activity aims to provide youth workers with tools, techniques, and methods on how to involve and better support youth participation at the local level. During the training course, the participants had the opportunity to learn and inquire about participation in practical terms: they went to a cultural event within the program of the Nordic Week in Kaunas and visited the headquarters for the European Capital of Culture 2022 and in Vilnius the participants talked with one representative of the National Youth Council of Lithuania.

The participants also had the opportunity to learn more about the revised European Letter about youth participation at the local and regional level and discover new tools to involve and multiply the impact of youth in their local communities.

This activity was supported by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
