DYPALL Network participated in the third and last transnational project meeting for the “S.M.A.R.T. Youth Center” project from 13th – 16th November 2023, in Cinisello Balsamo, Italy. The event was organised by IRTEA and hosted by Comune di Cinisello Balsamo.

The “S.M.A.R.T. Youth Center” project aims to support and empower youth workers, to develop the digital skills of participants and to design and implement digital youth activities, that will lead to the professional development of participants. In summary, “S.M.A.R.T.” focuses on achieving a triple impact:

  • It seeks to create opportunities to innovate for organisations, trainers and youth workers;
  • it aims to increase the use of open educational resources, ensuring that educational materials produced with European or public funding are free and available to all for use or reuse;
  • it seeks to improve the infrastructure of ICT- Information and Communication Technologies and connectivity in Youth Centers.

During the meeting, the project coordinators and the partners’ representatives within the project consortium gathered in person for the last time to discuss project updates and decide the final steps. The main focus was the finalisation of Project Result 4, the “Digital Toll Box for Educators and Youth Workers as a learning tank”, and to discuss the dissemination strategy for the upcoming months, which includes a multiplier event to present the project results to the local stakeholders. The project coordinators and the partners’ representatives also had the opportunity to join a multiplier event organized by the Comune di Cinisello Balsamo, working with local youngsters and helping them to create strategies to solve local challenges.
