Activity

DYPALL Network participated in the kick-off meeting of the “Climbing the Ladder: fostering a culture of Youth Engagement” project from 14th – 17th of February, hosted in
Berlin, Germany, by YEPP Europe.

This meeting marked the beginning of the consortium’s collaborative efforts to set solid grounds for project implementation and ensure high-impact youth engagement practices within the project.

The project objectives are to:

  • analyse and understand the key features of current models and mechanisms for youth engagement in Europe;
  • gather successful practices to encourage young people, policymakers, and practitioners to involve the youth perspective in policymaking;
  • create an accessible digital to guide practitioners and policymakers in the establishment of mechanisms for the engagement of young people;
  • establish two networks to promote citizen participation and democratic engagement at local and regional levels throughout Europe (one of young facilitators for democracy and another one of young city/regional councillors).

The project is led by DYPALL Network in partnership with Europiamo (Italy), Nordland fylkeskommune (Norway), EDYN (Slovakia), YEPP Europe (Germany), Assemblée desRégions d’Europe – ARE (France), and SQ Learn (Greece), under the Erasmus+ Programme.
