INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP TO SUPPORT YOUTH INITIATIVE – KICKOFF MEETING

On the 20th-22nd June, DYPALL Network was in Cichowo, Poland for the kick-off meeting of the project “International Partnership to support Youth Initiative” coordinated by Fundacja Cooperacja – Poland, which involves 2 other partners: Culture Clash Barcelona – Spain and ASTRID association – Romania.

The aim of the project is to support young people with fewer opportunities, especially those at risk of discrimination due to living in rural areas, and to overcome the barriers they face in society by learning together, raising awareness as well as knowledge and developing key skills of youth workers to support youth initiatives and cooperation with young people at risk of social exclusion is based on respect, empathy, diversity and tolerance.

The main objectives that the partners aim to achieve during the project are:

1) prepare young people to become active citizens

2) support the articulation of the problems of young people at risk of social exclusion

3) raise awareness of active participation in society

4) promote social inclusion, equality and justice

5) promote social entrepreneurship among young people.

Moreover, during these two days, the partners had the opportunity to know better each other and their respective expertise, share ideas on the next steps and discuss the European Youth Goals and how to implement them with their local communities. In addition, it was also a great occasion to have an activity on the well-being and a study visit to the municipality of Luszkowo, Poland, which have an insightful and active community.

The project includes one Learning, Training, Teaching Activity (LTTA), that will take place in October 2022 in Portugal and the Final Conference which will take place in September 2023 in Spain.

The project is co-funded by the European Union in cooperation with Polish National Agency.
