“European Future Citizens” second transnational project meeting

Activity

On the 28th and 29th of November, DYPALL Network participated in the second transnational project meeting of the “European Future Citizens” project hosted in Matera, Italy by Consorzio Materahub and Pot in Pot.

During this meeting, representatives from DYPALL Network shared the results from the local workshop on mapping community challenges, which was held on the 24th of November in Portimão, and had the opportunity to hear the presentations from other partners. The challenges identified by the young people who participated in these local workshops will serve as inspiration for the development of an urban game.

Throughout the two-day meeting, the project partners also engaged in discussions regarding the project’s development including the finalisation of the CitizensComp, the development of the urban game and the organisation of Citizenthons, as well as other tasks within the project. The meeting was also used for planning the future steps.

“European Future Citizens” is a project that aims to encourage young European citizens to develop smarter cities, foster a sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, and engage local communities through challenges. With a gamified approach, the project involves young people in solving local challenges to promote digitalization and sustainability in their cities.

The project is coordinated by FO-Aarhus (Denmark), in cooperation with DYPALL Network, Fundatia Centrul Educational Spektrum (Romania), Consorzio Materhub (Italy), Pot in Pot (Italy) and the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (Estonia), co-founded by the European Union.
