Steering group meeting in the University on Youth and Development Activity On 16th – 17th September, the DYPALL Network Steering Group met at the University on Youth and Development in Mollina, Spain. The SG members focused on reviewing the progress of the Network, improving website features, and discussing membership outreach and partnerships. Membership outreach strategies were reviewed, with a plan to establish a working group for developing an outreach strategy and mapping new partners. Discussions also covered expanding partnerships, especially with research institutes, as well as geographical outreach across various European countries. The group further explored programme areas, focusing on youth council development, opportunities for supporting student councils, and mapping structures for democracy innovation. The Steering Group handbook for onboarding is being finalized and will be completed in the coming weeks. On 17th September, the Steering Group worked on mapping potential new members. Future cooperation projects were discussed, including concept notes for strengthening local youth strategies. A timeline for upcoming activities was set, including outreach efforts, website updates, and preparations for future events, such as the Winter Democracy Academy in Lisbon which will take place in December 2024.
