DYPALL Network at the Symposium on Youth, Democracy and Climate Action DYPALL Network was proud to participate in the Symposium on Youth, Democracy and Climate Action, organised by the EU-Council of Europe Youth Partnership from September 24 to 26, 2024, at the European Youth Centre Strasbourg, France. Our delegation included our Executive Director, Bruno Antonio, and two young representatives, João Bras and Afonso Borges. The symposium provided a valuable platform to discuss critical issues and explore strategies for positive change. Our representatives actively participated in the event, attending and facilitating workshops focused on the impact local activism and advocacy can have, using non-formal education as a capacity-building tool. These workshops highlighted the importance of empowering young people to be agents of change and contribute to healthier democracies that prioritize the well-being of our planet, be it at a local, national, or international level. It was an honour to participate in this important event and contribute to the ongoing dialogue on youth engagement, democracy and climate action. Find out more about the event here.
