Kick-off meeting “LEVEL UP! Life after Mobility” On the 21st-23rd November, DYPALL Network was in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria for the kick-off meeting of the project “LEVEL UP! Life after Mobility” coordinated by Active Bulgarian Society (ABS) with 2 other partners: Youth for Exchange and Understanding (YEU) – Belgium and United Society of Balkans (USB) – Greece. The project “LEVEL UP! Life after mobility” wants to develop and promote innovative tools and efficient strategies to support follow up of international mobilities at the local level, engaging young people who take part in similar experiences to get more active within their own communities and to have the chance to convey their learnings and newly gained expertise/competencies to improve their own realities. To do so, we want to use innovative digital tools that will be developed based on the research on practices and methodologies that already exist and on the real and practical opportunities that young people can access at the local level. In this sense, we believe that the current project proposal is in line first of all with the YOUTH priority “Promoting quality youth work”, as it aims at equipping youth workers and youth org with concrete tools, strategies and opportunities not to disperse youth potential and commitment after international mobilities and to provide links within the European dimension and the local one. We believe that by ensuring a stronger, more structured and more efficient follow up of international mobilities we can not only improve the quality of youth work in the partner communities but also consequently improve and enrich these communities. The project includes two training courses designed for youth workers: “Capacity building of youth workers and youth organisations” and “Capacity building of youth workers and youth organisations”, as well a multiplier event. The outputs foreseen are the creation of A platform/app matching young people competencies with possibilities to engage at the local level and a publication that will encompass the results of the research phase (collection of good practices for follow up of learning mobilities).
