DYPALL Network at the Official Opening of Novi Sad – European Youth Capital 2019 DYPALL Network, from the 25th to the 26th of January 2019 attended the Side Event of OPENS 2019, in Novi Sad (Serbia). In fact, Novi Sad will be European Youth Capital and through the #OPENS2019 program, young people will get the new premises for youth clubs, centres, info points, improved health and social services in the city, support to create and innovate, an opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills, exchange experiences and opinions with young people from Europe, an opportunity to influence the development of their city. DYPALL Network specifically participated in the OPENS 2019 Side Event, where 7 different organizations (more than 160 people) from different European countries had the chance to meet, organize internally and network through different workshops. The Side Event took place at Master Centar, in Novi Sad, and it was the opportunity for the Steering Group of DYPALL Network to meet and discuss future steps on partnerships and communication. The following day, more than 500 people from all over Europe participated in the Official Opening Ceremony for Novi Sad European Youth Capital 2019. For the celebration, the Synagogue of Novi Sad was brought alive by projections, actors and musicians. The event was attended by the representatives of the Republic, the Province and the City of Novi Sad, diplomatic corps, institutions and youth organizations from Serbia and Europe. The attendees had the opportunity to hear Vukašin Grozdanović, OPENS Coordinator, Miloš Vučević, the Mayor of Novi Sad and Aleksandar Vučić, the president of the Republic of Serbia.
