“Migrant Youth Friendly Cities” Third Transnational Project Meeting and Final Conference

Activity

DYPALL Network participated in the third transnational project meeting and final conference for the “Migrant Youth Friendly Cities” project from 16th  – 19th October 2023. Both events were organised and hosted by IRTEA in Athens, Greece.

The project coordinators and the partners’ representatives within the project consortium gathered for the last time in person to discuss and assess the project’s progress and plan the final steps. They also had an opportunity to meet and engage with local stakeholders in the Municipality of Fyli and the Municipality of Salamina, as well as to attend the Final Conference at the University of Piraeus.

The Final Conference was the first large-scale dissemination event of the three Intellectual Outputs: the Publication of models and strategies of integration at the local level (IO1), the Assessment tool “Migrant Youth Friendly City” (IO2), and the Guidelines for a “Migrant Youth Friendly City” (IO3). In the following months, each partner will organise a local dissemination event to mainstream and share the project’s results and outputs within a more extensive network of organisations, municipalities and stakeholders. The dissemination events aim to allow all the intellectual outputs to be used beyond the partner consortium and create a shared, common culture for effective integration at the local level of young migrants and young refugees.

This Erasmus+ KA2 project is coordinated by DYPALL Network in partnership with Novisi Elkartea (Spain), ΔΗΜΟΣ ΦΥΛΗΣ Municipality of Fyli (Greece), Ινστιτούτο Έρευνας & Κατάρτισης Ευρωπαϊκών Θεμάτων (Greece), African Empowerment Centre (Sweden).
