EUlection Play “Solutions for a Better Engagement” event Activity On 24th June, the event “Solutions for a Better Engagement” gathered young adults from Portimão who will lead activities for adolescents during summer. These activities aim not only to provide quality leisure time to these adolescents but also to foster their sense of belonging to the territory. The participants in the training session got to know the EUlection Play project results and were equipped with tools to work with the youth, increasing their knowledge about the EU, its mechanisms and connections between local and European level. Participants also reflected on EU elections and why it is important to vote. We believe this format, using non-formal methods and where the counselor responsible for youth matters was present, allowed attendees to understand their role in policymaking and made them more aware of their responsibility as educators and multipliers when working with their peers. The EulectionPlay project is funded by the European Executive Agency for Education and Culture (EACEA) and is currently being implemented by CRPE (Romania), The Teacher Lab (Romania), Active Bulgarian Society (Bulgaria), ADEL (Slovakia), and DYPALL Network. Co-funded by the European Union.
