Focus on Cross-Sectorial Cooperation – Training Course in Lithuania

From the 2nd to the 9th of February 2020, 27 participants from five different countries (Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia) met in the Training Centre “Daugirdiškės”, in Lithuania, for the second training course of the project “Focus on Youth: Service Design and Co-Creation”.

This training course, titled “Focus on Cross-Sectorial Cooperation”, explored the concepts of cooperation within public and private sectors, different organizations and institutions, and which competencies are needed to create a sustainable co-creation process. In addition, the program focused on the needs and characteristics of youth, both from a sociological and environmental perspective, and how their active participation influences community and service development.

Great attention was given to mapping the life of young people in Portugal between the age of 15 and 25 years old: what choices do they make? Which support systems are there for them? And how do these choices impacts their personal and professional development?

The training course featured also a graphic facilitation workshop with Visual Mind LT, a first-hand experience with VR (Virtual Reality) with Audrius Laurutis, a visit to Alt Space (a co-working space in Vilnius), with a presentation on strategy implementation by Miroslavas Monkevičius, and a visit to the traditional Karaim restaurant Kybynlar, where we learnt more about this community and we made kybyn, in addition to some cultural visits in Vilnius.

DYPALL Network participated with representatives of the Municipality of Valongo, Municipality of Cascais, Municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, Municipality of Sintra and of Agrupamento Escolas Poeta António Aleixo.

The project is coordinated by Medvirkningsagentene (Norway), and has as partners DYPALL Network (Portugal), Institute for Policy Research and Analysis (Lithuania), Idea LAB Foundation (Poland), and Institut za mladinsko politico (Slovenia).
