Slack is a collaboration hub that can replace email to help you and your team work together seamlessly. A Slack workspace is made up of channels, where team members can communicate and work together. Its features include: organized conversations, searchable history, connected apps, slack calls, and more. The best part? You can use it entirely free (unless you are looking for really specific features).


Padlet is a software people use to make and share content with others. Somewhere between a doc and a full-fledged website builder, Padlet empowers everyone to make the content they want, whether it’s a quick bulletin board, a blog, or a portfolio. The “Vanilla” (or basic) version is completely free, but it also offers paid solutions for schools and companies, with specific features.


Trello is a collaboration tool that organizes your projects into boards. It can be visualized as a white board filled with lists of sticky notes, with each note as a task for you and your team, that can have photos, attachments from other data sources, documents, and a place to comment and collaborate with your teammates. Trello is completely free, but it has limitations in the number of available boards and team members.
