Engage, Connect and Empower Local Youth Councils in Europe (ECE-LYCE) second Transnational Partner Meeting in Klaipeda, Lithuania

The second Transnational Partner Meeting (TPM) of the Engage, Connect and Empower Local Youth Councils in Europe (ECE-LYCE) project took place from 5th to 8th October 2026 in Klaipeda, Lithuania. Hosted by the Klaipeda Youth Organisations Association “Apskritasis stalas” (KLAS), the activity brought together representatives from all 7 project partners to reconnect in person, review ongoing progress, and strategically plan upcoming initiatives.

Work sessions kicked off with a review of the project’s progress and recent activities. Partners evaluated the implementation of international training courses, and planned the upcoming macro-regional capacity-building activities and the Stakeholders Group meetings. The consortium also discussed the Youth Councils Twinning activities, promotional videos, recognition awards, and preparations for the European Network Conference in Portugal.

To ensure quality implementation and smooth management, time was dedicated to discussing upcoming progress reports and the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework.

Then the focus shifted toward long-term planning for 2027, covering both national and international dimensions. At the national level, partners coordinated schedules for upcoming national bootcamps, (youth) policy-labs, and local youth policy dialogues. Internationally, preliminary planning was established for the third Transnational Partner Meeting (TPM3) as well as the Second European Network Conference in Croatia.

Beyond sessions in the meeting room, partner representatives took part in a team-building trip to Smiltynė, fostering connection and collaboration. The meeting concluded on 8th October with an evaluation session, final reflections, and closing steps.

The ECE-LYCE second Transnational Partner Meeting is part of the ‘Engage, Connect and Empower Local Youth Councils in Europe (ECE-LYCE)’ project, coordinated by DYPALL-netwerk in collaboration with the Union of Youth Councils in Finland (NUVA), the National Youth Council of Serbia (KOMS), the Danish Network of Youth Councils (Denmark), Klaipėda Youth Organisations Association “Apskritasis stalas” (Litouwen), Association Delta (Croatia), and the Romanian Youth Movement for Democracy (Romania). The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
