Проект Eulection Play: Потопете се в португалската демокрация и европейската интеграция Дейност On June 18th, 2024, as part of the Eulection Play project, 11 young leaders visited the Portuguese Parliament и Centro Interpretativo in Lisbon. This visit offered a profound look into the core of Portugal’s political landscape and provided insights into European democratic processes and the recent European Elections 2024. At the Portuguese Parliament, the group explored the grand Plenary Hall, the epicentre of key legislative sessions where crucial debates and decisions unfold. They gained an understanding of the hall’s architectural and historical significance, reflecting Portugal’s democratic principles. The tour included a detailed explanation of where legislative development and policy reviews take place. At the Centro Interpretativo, the group met with Ambassadors at the Liaison Office of the European Parliament. The visit offered a dynamic experience with exhibits tracing key moments in Portuguese history. The centre also highlighted the evolution of Portuguese democracy and governance, providing context on its relationship with European institutions. The young leaders interacted with experts, deepening their understanding of Portugal’s role in the European Union and discussing the outcomes of the European Elections 2024. They shared perspectives on youth involvement in politics and explored initiatives to enhance political engagement among young Europeans.
