Youth participatory Budget for Innovative Education in the Orneta Commune – Study Visit in Poland DYPALL Network together with the Municipality of Cascais were present in the study visit of the project “Youth participatory budget for innovative education in the Orneta commune” which took place from 21st to 24th of January in Ebląg, Poland and was hosted by the organization Forum Animatorów Społecznych. The visit served to support the implementation of the participatory budget in 4 schools of the Orneta commune and to visit and get to know different activities and venues of youth work in Poland. On the first day, the delegation had the opportunity to visit the venue of the project “Active Elblag”, where youth workers organize workshops and leisure activities to the youngsters of the city. There was also time to visit the office of Forum Animatorów Społecznych and the museum of the city of Elbląg and have an intercultural snack. The second day was devoted to a detailed presentation of the Youth Participatory Budget of Cascais to the youth workers and project managers who will implement it. The next day was dedicated to the visit of the project “Kacze Bagno” located in Kurzętnik in Poland and a venue for different trainings and activities, including training for teachers in Non-Formal Education and ended with a meeting with the beneficiaries of the “Active Elbąg”. In the last day, it was time to fine-tune the implementation of the participatory budget in the Orneta commune and think about future partnerships. This project is composed of two Study visits, the first one which took place in Portugal from 2nd to 6th of December 2019. The project is supported by the PO WER (Knowledge Education Development Operational Programme) of the European Union.
