WE A.R.
Racism and intolerance are on the rise in Europe and episodes of discrimination directly affect young people on multiple levels. For this reason, the “We A.R” project was implemented with the aim of promoting the Anti-rumour Methodology from the Council of Europe in youth organisations and educational settings as a tool to address the challenges of equity, diversity and inclusion, and to engage young people in creating more inclusive, intercultural and fair societies.
The assessment tool “Migrant Youth Friendly City” is a scale of reference for municipalities to better understand their integration policies, methods and strategies and analyse how they can be changed, improved or maintained to ensure the integration of young migrants, young refugees and youth with migrant background under different indicators (legal, socio-economic, socio-cultural) and their active participation in society. This tool represents the second intellectual output (IO3) of the “Migrant Youth Friendly City” project. It works in conjunction with the Guidelines (IO2) under the same project, intended for use after the assessment.

Fostering a Culture of Participation: Mainstreaming Local Youth Councils in Europe
Local Youth Councils (LYC) have two main dimensions: one is pedagogical, and the other is civic and democratic. These structures are often the first contact with more formal democratic means for many youngsters. This project aims to strengthen young people’s democratic participation at the local and regional levels by improving existing LYC’ processes and practices. To understand the multiple models of LYC, the consortium mapped and collected data from the different partners. This publication gathers information regarding various aspects of the LYC, such as its composition, organization, goals, resources available, and other relevant information. Also, it compiles the inside perspectives regarding importance, effectiveness, youth representation, and impact for 10 LYC from 5 countries.
Digital Participation Tools for Youth Engagement in Local Governance
Digital tools can be used to support the already existing structures and processes of youth participation or incentivize e-participation in online environments or a combination of both that can be complementary. Therefore, a European consortium led by DYPALL Network has decided to conduct this Study on digital participation tools for youth engagement in local governance in order to collect practice examples of digital tools that strengthen youth participation in decision-making processes at the local level.
