EmpowerEU
Building on the success of the “Educate for Democracy” programme, the three new chapters added under the EmpowerEU project enhances understanding of the EU and its institutions, encouraging civic responsibility and active participation. With three new chapters, it delves further into the EU’s foundations. By engaging with these resources, young people will deepen their knowledge of EU democracy, cultivating a sense of belonging and European civic duty. This active involvement in the democratic process empowers them to shape Europe’s future and contribute to a more just, inclusive, and prosperous society.
2022
Game+
This publication aims to provide youth workers with methods and tools to use digital games or tools to gamify their working methods. It will shed some light on existing educational games and gamification practices from different countries, present easy-to-use tools to gamify learning experiences and highlight key challenges and significant benefits of using this method in youth work. It is the result and the 1st Intellectual Output of the project GAME+: Gamification and Access for Millennials in Erasmus+, developed by four non-governmental organisations: Bangherang APS (Italy), Center for Youth Activism CYA KRIK (North Macedonia) and DYPALL Network (Portugal), under the coordination of Europe4Youth (Poland) and is financed by the Polish National Agency for Erasmus+ Programme.
#EUInfluencers
This Toolkit aims to support young people in being EU Influencers towards their peers by increasing their understanding of the EU, developing critical thinking and combating fake news. Tackling the topics of EU and its structure, the impact of the EU on the local communities, how to tackle misinformation about the EU and combat fake news and how to transmit this information to other young people using peer learning and non-formal education methods. It was developed within the #EUInfluencers project that gives an active role to young people from Serbia, Italy, Croatia, Portugal and Sweden to be the influencers of EU towards their peers.
Management systems of coworking spaces for social innovation
The publication presents 19 carefully selected practices mapped among coworking spaces from 9 countries with a focus on youth participation and entrepreneurship, boosting social entrepreneurship and positively impacting local communities.
Mapping best practices for youth friendly cities
Based on extensive research on existing labels of youth friendly cities and good practices in different dimensions, this publications presents various solutions and examples to improve youth friendliness of a city, while voiding obstacles and possible risks.

European Union - Council of Europe Youth Partnership
The survey, conducted by the EU-Council of Europe Youth Partnership, explores the evolving landscape of youth political participation. This report offers key insights into the preferences and engagement patterns of young people across Council of Europe member states. It comprises three sections, covering research methodology, findings on topics like information access and political involvement, and concludes with key takeaways for future study.

Finnish Youth Research Network
This paper analyses why youth participation is considered important, how youth participation has been seen and what models have been created, and how youth participation is connected to different views about democracy. The paper also involves some critical remarks about how promoting youth participation could be made better.
SALTO Participation & Information
The document contains the strategy for enhancing youth participation in democratic life through the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes. The overall scope of the Youth Participation Strategy is to contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the EU Youth Strategy in fostering youth participation in democratic life as well as the European Youth Goals relating to youth participation by using the full potential of the Erasmus and ESC programmes.
