Programme
“One step higher – Climbing the ladder of participation”, is an 18 months project involving 8 organisations from Italy, Portugal, Georgia,Albania, Spain, North Macedonia, Greece and Turkey. The specific objectives of the project are to develop youth workers’ competencies and non-formal education methodologies regarding youth participation; engage local municipality administrators and bring them closer to the needs of young people with the goal of involving them more and more effectively in the decision-making process; empower NGOs with an in-depth study of youth participation and updated methodologies for engaging young people; establish a network of youth workers to share experiences, resources, and ideas related to youth participation in democratic life; promote connections between youth workers and local municipality administrators all over the Europe; implement EU policies and strategies on democratic participation and youth participation.
