Madeira Jovem – First Meeting

Within the framework of mainstreaming the development of local and regional Youth Action Plans, DYPALL has implemented on the 22nd November the first stakeholders’ meeting – the first activity of the project to develop the first Youth Action Plan of the Madeira Autonomous Region of Portugal.

This meeting gathered over 50 stakeholders, including regional governmental secretariats, school and university representatives, youth organizations and private sector entities. The activity aimed at establishing the main policy areas of the plan and designing, in a participatory approach, a 12 months program to enable the Madeira Autonomous Region to develop its Youth Plan and thereby make Madeira a Youth friendly region and create a positive impact in the local communities. It will also enable cross-sectorial work on the Youth field through setting concrete goals, measures and indicators for this plan.
