Building Quality Local Youth Councils

This report presents the outcomes of an international training course in Maia, Portugal. By leveraging the knowledge and experience of diverse European and South-Mediterranean countries, the training course facilitated meaningful exchanges among participants. It served as a platform for sharing best practices and creating a cross-cultural space that encouraged the exchange of valuable insights. The training covered youth participation, effective communication, cooperation, and advocacy. Participants gained valuable insights and experiences to support their involvement in youth councils, and they were equipped to act as multipliers for democracy, participation, and inclusion in their communities.
