Het derde en laatste studiebezoek van het project \u201cClimbing the Ladder: Fostering a Culture of Youth Engagement CL-YE\u201d vond plaats van 2 tot en met 6 december 2024 in Brussel, Belgi\u00eb, onder auspici\u00ebn van de Vergadering van de Europese Regio\u2019s (AER). Deze bijeenkomst bracht vertegenwoordigers van het projectconsortium samen om contact te leggen met de belangrijkste Europese instellingen en zich te verdiepen in de manier waarop de perspectieven van jongeren worden ge\u00efntegreerd in de besluitvormingsprocessen op regionaal en Europees niveau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De deelnemers woonden het najaarsbureau van het EAR in het Europees Parlement bij en observeerden de besluitvormingsprocessen die de Europese regio\u2019s vormgeven. Op het verbindingsbureau van de Raad van Europa heeft beleidsadviseur Aleksandra Celar informatie gedeeld over de inspanningen om de participatie van jongeren in democratische processen te bevorderen. De deelnemers verkenden de financieringsmogelijkheden van Erasmus+ met het Europees Uitvoerend Agentschap onderwijs en cultuur en leerden over steun voor initiatieven voor de betrokkenheid van jongeren in heel Europa. Tijdens de vergadering met Susannah Hallgren van de ad-hocgroep Jeugd van het EESC werd gewezen op de successen en uitdagingen bij de integratie van jongerenperspectieven in de raadplegingsprocessen van de EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ze hadden ook de gelegenheid om vertegenwoordigers van het Europees Jeugdforum en de Conseil de la Jeunesse Belgique (Belgische jongerenraad van de Franstalige gemeenschap) te ontmoeten om te onderzoeken hoe jongerenstemmen het bestuur en de belangenbehartiging vormgeven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het bezoek aan Brussel was een belangrijke stap in het CL-YE-project, na eerdere bezoeken aan Bratislava en Wenen. De deelnemers reflecteerden op de geleerde lessen en benadrukten het belang van grensoverschrijdende samenwerking om de stem van jongeren in het bestuur te versterken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het beklimmen van de ladder: Het bevorderen van een cultuur van jongerenbetrokkenheid (CL-YE) wordt geleid door het DYPALL-netwerk in samenwerking met Europiamo (Itali\u00eb), Nordland fylkeskommune (Noorwegen), EDYN (Slowakije), YEPP Europe (Duitsland), Assembl\u00e9e des R\u00e9gions d\u2019Europe \u2013 AER (Frankrijk) en SQ Learn (Griekenland) in het kader van het Erasmus+-programma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
