Op 15 en 16 november organiseerde het DYPALL-netwerk de Europese burgerthon<\/strong> in Faro, als onderdeel van Erasmus+ Europese toekomstige burgers<\/em><\/strong>, een project dat actief burgerschap en een gevoel van initiatief bevordert door middel van spelontwerp, waarbij duurzamere steden in heel Europa worden verbeeld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In de loop van twee dagen kwamen 30 deelnemers uit de vijf partnerlanden bijeen om deel te nemen aan verschillende activiteiten. Op de eerste dag verkenden ze de programma voor capaciteitsopbouw<\/strong> en speelde de Stedelijk spel<\/strong> ontwikkeld binnen het project, het verkennen van de concepten van duurzaamheid en innovatie in de stadsontwikkeling. De tweede dag was gewijd aan het co-cre\u00ebren van de Manifest <\/strong>van European Future Citizens, een document dat de collectieve visie van jonge Europeanen weerspiegelt. Tijdens het evenement hadden de deelnemers ook de mogelijkheid om contact te maken met de deelnemers van de EJA<\/strong>, de jaarlijkse bijeenkomst van jongeren uit de Algarve.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het manifest werd ontwikkeld door middel van een inclusief en participatief proces, waarin de aspiraties, idee\u00ebn en praktische aanbevelingen van de deelnemende jongeren, lokale teams en projectpartners in de vorige fasen werden verzameld. Het schetst uitvoerbare strategie\u00ebn om hedendaagse maatschappelijke uitdagingen aan te pakken, waaronder: sociale inclusie<\/strong>, milieuduurzaamheid<\/strong>, digitale transformatie<\/strong> en bestrijding van desinformatie<\/strong>. Door de stem van jongeren te versterken, streeft het manifest ernaar een toekomstgericht Europa te bevorderen en lokale actoren in staat te stellen in te spelen op de behoeften en voorstellen van toekomstige burgers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Op 17 november werd het manifest tijdens de EJA aan belanghebbenden gepresenteerd en kreeg het sterke steun, waaronder de ondertekening van een verbintenisbrief ter ondersteuning van de aanbevelingen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het project wordt geco\u00f6rdineerd door FO-Aarhus<\/a> (Denemarken), in samenwerking met het DYPALL-netwerk, Fundatia Centrul Onderwijs Spektrum<\/a> (Roemeni\u00eb), Consorzio Materhub<\/a> (Itali\u00eb), Pot in Pot (Itali\u00eb) en de Estse Hogeschool voor Ondernemerschap<\/a> (Estland), mede opgericht door de Europese Unie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
