Het Youth2EUrope-project Jeugdbijeenkomst<\/strong> vond plaats van 1 tot en met 7 mei 2023 in Setubal, Portugal.<\/p>\n

Tijdens de jongerenbijeenkomst hebben 25 jongeren uit Kroati\u00eb, Itali\u00eb, Litouwen en Portugal hun vaardigheden op het gebied van actief burgerschap verder ontwikkeld door hun kennis over EU-instellingen<\/strong>, zijn waarden<\/strong> en prioriteiten<\/strong> en de besluitvormingsproces<\/strong>. De deelnemers zullen hun nieuw verworven kennis in de praktijk brengen door de tijdens de jongerenvergadering ontwikkelde bewustmakingscampagnes over de Europese Unie en de Europese verkiezingen van 2024 uit te voeren.<\/p>\n

Door middel van bewustmakingscampagnes die door jongeren worden opgezet en geleid, zal strategisch belangenbehartigingswerk een positieve impact hebben door hun stem te laten horen en andere jongeren aan te moedigen gemotiveerd te worden om actieve burgers te worden. Door bewustmakingscampagnes te voeren, zullen jongeren de burgers bereiken die meer betrokken moeten worden bij burgerparticipatie in hun dagelijks leven.<\/p>\n

Alle specifieke doelstellingen van de jongerenbijeenkomst zijn bereikt, namelijk:<\/p>\n

Vergroting van de kennis van jongeren over het Europees Parlement, de besluitvorming en de functies ervan,<\/p>\n

Bevordering van het inzicht van jongeren in de Europese politieke agenda, de prioriteiten ervan en de beleidsvormingsprocessen;<\/p>\n

Het inspireren en vergroten van het bewustzijn van jongeren dat de keuzen van jongeren en hun actieve deelname de sleutel zijn tot het bepalen van de toekomst van de EU.<\/p>\n

De activiteit werd georganiseerd door DYPALL Network met de medewerking van Mano Europa en de steun van de gemeente Setubal. Een consortium van vier organisaties voert het Youth2EUrope-project uit: Mano Europa<\/a> (Litouwen), DKolektiv<\/a> (Kroati\u00eb), Glocal-fabriek<\/a> (Itali\u00eb) en het DYPALL-netwerk in het kader van het CERV-programma.<\/p>\n
