De eerste transnationale partnervergadering van de \u201cYouth2EUrope\" (Y2EU)<\/strong>\u00a0Het project vond plaats vanaf 7<\/span>th<\/span> \u2013 10<\/span>th<\/span> december 2022 in Kaunas, Litouwen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dit was een startbijeenkomst waar de partners de gelegenheid hadden om de geplande activiteiten van het project te bespreken en te plannen die de komende twee jaar zullen worden uitgevoerd om jongeren vertrouwd te maken met de werking van de Europese instellingen, met de nadruk op het Europees Parlement en om instellingen dichter bij de burgers te brengen die zij vertegenwoordigen en waarvoor zij werken.<\/span><\/p>\n

De belangrijkste<\/strong> doelstellingen<\/strong> van het project zijn:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. bijdragen tot een meer politiek bewuste, politiek betrokken generatie door de kennis van jongeren over het Europees Parlement en de mate van politieke betrokkenheid op het grondgebied van de projectpartners te analyseren;<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. het bieden van kennis en ruimte aan jongeren om democratie, grondrechten en Europese waarden te bespreken en hun standpunten kenbaar te maken door het besluitvormingsproces te ervaren door middel van de simulatie van het Europees Parlement.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Een aanvullende doelstelling die gericht is op jongerenorganisaties en jeugdwerkers, is het verstrekken van instrumenten aan organisaties die werken aan de toenemende jeugdparticipatie, die zouden helpen de jongerengemeenschap die ge\u00efnteresseerd is in EU-aangelegenheden op te leiden en te laten groeien.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Een consortium van vier organisaties voert het Y2EU-project uit: Mano Europa<\/a> (Litouwen), DKolektiv<\/a> (Kroati\u00eb), Glocal-fabriek<\/a> (Itali\u00eb) en het DYPALL-netwerk in het kader van het CERV-programma.<\/span><\/p>\n
