De studiesessie \u201cClimbing the ladder \u2013 Capacitating youth leaders to facilitate youth participation in the decision-making process at the local level\u201d vond plaats in het Europees Jeugdcentrum van de Raad van Europa in Straatsburg tussen 24 en 24 uur.<\/span>th<\/span> \u2013 29<\/span>th<\/span> April en werd georganiseerd door DYPALL Network en de Vergadering van Europese Regio's (AER), in samenwerking met de afdeling Jeugdzaken van de Raad van Europa.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gedurende de hele week kregen 25 jongerenleiders uit 22 verschillende landen de kans om hun kennis over jongerenparticipatie te vergroten en vaardigheden en praktische hulpmiddelen te verwerven om hun potenti\u00eble impact als jonge activisten en multiplicatoren in hun lokale realiteit te versterken.<\/span><\/p>\n

De voorgestelde activiteiten zijn gebaseerd op relevante publicaties van de Raad van Europa op het gebied van jongerenparticipatie, zoals \u201cGeef uw mening! Handboek over het herziene Europees Handvest inzake de deelname van jongeren aan het lokale en regionale leven\u201d. Dankzij deze uitgangspunten kregen de deelnemers de kans om vanuit een breder punt actief een actieplan op te stellen om een relevante actie in hun lokale realiteit te starten.<\/span><\/p>\n

De studiesessie werd afgesloten met de zinvolle bijdrage van onze externe deskundige Hrvoje Kova\u010d, die de \u201cLadder of Participation\u201d heeft verkend, en die werd geleverd door het praktische hulpmiddel Advocacy Cycle van AER, zodat de deelnemers het onderwerp goed konden begrijpen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dit leerproces is opgebouwd door verschillende methodologie\u00ebn, zoals een simulatiespel dat door het team wordt aangeboden, om een duidelijk inzicht te geven in hoe donoren en instellingen kunnen worden benaderd om hun projecten gefinancierd te krijgen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Het belangrijkste eindresultaat was, naast het eigenlijke actieplan dat elke deelnemer zelf vormde, ook de oprichting van een \u201cJongerenraad van het DYPALL-netwerk\u201d die de organisatie inzichtelijke ondersteuning zal bieden om haar projecten beter af te stemmen op de behoeften en doelstellingen van jongeren en om haar actie te bevorderen om de pluralistische democratie nieuw leven in te blazen in het besluitvormingsproces op lokaal niveau, wat in overeenstemming is met de kerndoelstellingen van de afdeling Jeugdzaken van de RvE.<\/span><\/p>\n
