Dit jaar staat de rol van politieke partijen en de media in de context van het toenemende populisme centraal in de discussie, met thema\u2019s als \u201cVan de democratie van partijen naar de democratie van burgers?\u201d en \u201cMedia \u2013 vriend of vijand van de democratie?\u201d.
