“De gemeente Portim\u00e3o, uitgedaagd door de lokale ngo ECOS \u2013 Cooperativa de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o, Coopera\u00e7\u00e3o e Desenvolvimento, besloot zich vanaf het allereerste begin bij het netwerk aan te sluiten met de intu\u00eftie dat het de manier was om een nieuwe cultuur van jongerenparticipatie in de besluitvorming over alle kwesties met betrekking tot jongeren te ontwikkelen en om de lokale jeugdraad van de stad dynamiek te geven.<\/em>
\n Door onze betrokkenheid bij de werkzaamheden van het netwerk, namelijk de verschillende werkvergaderingen, vergaderingen van jeugdwerkers, seminars en opleidingen, heeft de gemeente Portim\u00e3o begrepen dat veel van de uitdagingen waarmee we worden geconfronteerd bij het werken met jongeren en hun deelname aan de gemeenschap zijn gemeenschappelijk en worden gedeeld door de meeste partners van DYPALL, of het nu gaat om lokale overheden, maar ook om ngo\u2019s en jongerenverenigingen<\/strong>, Tot slot is het delen van goede praktijken en strategie\u00ebn voor de ontwikkeling van structuren voor jongerenparticipatie de echte toegevoegde waarde voor het opbouwen van capaciteit van technisch personeel en jeugdwerkers, maar ook van managers en politici.<\/em>
\n Het is belangrijk de participatie van jongeren te bevorderen door middel van raadplegingsprocessen die debatten en de uitwisseling van meningen met jongeren, jongerenverenigingen en lokale overheden mogelijk maken, alsook door strategie\u00ebn en beleidsmaatregelen voor de ontwikkeling van het lokale grondgebied te ontwerpen en vast te stellen.<\/em>“<\/p>\n
