DYPALL Network estuvo presente en la \u00faltima fase del proyecto de cooperaci\u00f3n internacional \u00abCONNECT: Empoderamiento para la participaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica y c\u00edvica de los j\u00f3venes migrantes\u00bb, en el que participaron socios de cuatro pa\u00edses africanos y cinco pa\u00edses europeos con el apoyo de la Comisi\u00f3n Europea.<\/div>\n

La reuni\u00f3n tuvo lugar del 22 al 27 de junio de 2018 en Santo Tom\u00e9 y Pr\u00edncipe, uno de los pa\u00edses m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os de \u00c1frica. Adem\u00e1s de la evaluaci\u00f3n de las diferentes actividades y productos del proyecto desarrolladas durante los dos a\u00f1os de este proyecto de cooperaci\u00f3n, tambi\u00e9n proporcion\u00f3 espacio para que los socios interactuaran con las organizaciones locales y las autoridades p\u00fablicas. Esto ha llevado a la comprensi\u00f3n de la importancia de continuar el trabajo sobre el tema del empoderamiento pol\u00edtico de los j\u00f3venes, centr\u00e1ndose especialmente en las minor\u00edas, ya que el enfoque en estos grupos es casi inexistente. Los socios han llegado a la conclusi\u00f3n de que todav\u00eda queda mucho por hacer y que este tipo de intercambio de pr\u00e1cticas y enfoques puede ser realmente beneficioso para todas las organizaciones involucradas.<\/div>\n

Santo Tom\u00e9 es un pa\u00eds donde m\u00e1s de 70% de la poblaci\u00f3n son ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes, por lo que podemos imaginar el impacto que podr\u00eda tener empoderar la participaci\u00f3n de esta gran parte de la poblaci\u00f3n. Trabajar para aumentar la participaci\u00f3n de los j\u00f3venes en la toma de decisiones no solo contribuir\u00eda a involucrar a la mayor\u00eda de la poblaci\u00f3n en la construcci\u00f3n de su sociedad, sino que tambi\u00e9n contribuir\u00eda a desarrollar una buena gobernanza y m\u00e1s democracias de calidad, y esto es relevante tanto para los pa\u00edses africanos como para los europeos. Todav\u00eda hay mucho que hacer en esta \u00e1rea en ambos continentes, as\u00ed como mucho que podemos aprender juntos sobre este tema.<\/div>\n

Esta fue una oportunidad \u00fanica para que el equipo de DYPALL pueda contribuir con su experiencia a dicho proyecto de cooperaci\u00f3n y apoyar a todos los socios y organizadores en una aventura de aprendizaje tan incre\u00edble que se uni\u00f3 a ambos continentes.<\/div>\n
