Citando de www.un.org\/youthday<\/a><\/strong>:<\/p>\n

\u00abEl 17 de diciembre de 1999, en su\u00a0resoluci\u00f3n 54\/120<\/a>, la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas hizo suya la recomendaci\u00f3n formulada por la Conferencia Mundial de Ministros encargados de la Juventud (Lisboa, 8-12 de agosto de 1998) de que el 12 de agosto se declarara D\u00eda Internacional de la Juventud.<\/p>\n

Desde la aprobaci\u00f3n de la Resoluci\u00f3n del Consejo de Seguridad\u00a0S\/RES\/2250 (2015)<\/a>\u00a0en 2015, se reconoce cada vez m\u00e1s que, como agentes de cambio, la inclusi\u00f3n de los j\u00f3venes en la agenda de paz y seguridad y en la sociedad en general es clave para construir y mantener la paz. Otra Resoluci\u00f3n del Consejo de Seguridad S\/RES\/2282 (2016) reafirma el importante papel que los j\u00f3venes pueden desempe\u00f1ar en la disuasi\u00f3n y resoluci\u00f3n de conflictos, y son componentes clave para garantizar el \u00e9xito de los esfuerzos de mantenimiento y consolidaci\u00f3n de la paz.<\/p>\n

\u00abJuventud construyendo la paz\u00bb<\/h3>\n

El D\u00eda Internacional de la Juventud 2017 se dedica a celebrar las contribuciones de los j\u00f3venes a la prevenci\u00f3n y transformaci\u00f3n de conflictos, as\u00ed como a la inclusi\u00f3n, la justicia social y la paz sostenible.<\/p>\n

La Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible se comprometi\u00f3 a fomentar sociedades pac\u00edficas e inclusivas y afirm\u00f3 que \u00abel desarrollo sostenible no puede realizarse sin paz y seguridad\u00bb. El Objetivo 16 tiene por objeto garantizar la adopci\u00f3n de decisiones receptivas, inclusivas, participativas y representativas a todos los niveles. El\u00a0Programa de Acci\u00f3n Mundial para los J\u00f3venes<\/a>, que proporciona un marco pol\u00edtico y directrices pr\u00e1cticas para mejorar la situaci\u00f3n de los j\u00f3venes, tambi\u00e9n fomenta \u00abla promoci\u00f3n de la participaci\u00f3n activa de los j\u00f3venes en el mantenimiento de la paz y la seguridad\u00bb.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
