Training Course “Young Migrant Voices: a training course for boosting participation of young migrants in decision-making processes at local level”

15 – 21 November 2016, Odiliapeel, The Netherlands.

The training is a space of capacity building for 30 participants, youth workers, youth leaders, and representatives of local authorities to share, debate and present their perspectives and understanding on youth participation in the decision making processes at local, national and European level. This activity is a space for participants to re-think their interventions related to young migrants and youth participation at local level. Study Session “Transferring positive practices of Democratic Youth Participation Models from European to Local Level”

9 – 15 October 2016, European Youth Centre, Strasbourg, France.

The study session offered space to 35 young people, youth leaders, youth workers, representatives of institutions and decision makers to gather and research positive practices of meaningful participation implemented at European Level. The main idea is to go into depth in discussing this processes, and also gather youth workers, officials and experts that will share their previous experience, difficulties and obstacle, as well as effective methods and systems of democratic youth participation models on European and local level. International Conference “Youth Policy at Local and Regional level: Developing our territories through youth participation in decision making”

12 – 14 April 2016, Portimão, Portugal.

The Conference was the first international conference of DYPALL members, it aimed to promote and highlight the importance of developing the quality of youth work done at local level. Over 70 people representatives of youth departments of Municipalities and local authorities, civil society organizations active in the field of youth and youth groups met in Portimão, Portugal, for 4 days of sharing, debating and learning. The members of DYPALL organized the Conference to bring into reflection how local authorities and local CSO active in the field of youth can and should work together to develop local youth policies.
