"People move people." Mr Stephen Clark, Director for the European Parliament Liaison Offices at European Parliament addressed the audience at Youth Democracy Academy Conference this afternoon sharing the impact of #ThisTimeImVoting campaign and its development into #togetherEU.
The program was also enriched by the presentation of Ms Sofia Colares Alves, Head of the European Commission Representation in Portugal and keynote input of Carina Autengruber, President of the European Youth Forum.

The Conference is organized by DYPALL Network in partnership with the @comissao_europeia_pt, @parl.europeuportugal, @cnjportugal, @ipdj_ip and 10 international project partners, with the support of the #Erasmus+ program.

Youth Democracy Academy conference is taking place today on the occasion of Human Rights Day, in Lisbon, Portugal.

The program of the morning was dedicated to youth leaders from 10 EU countries that presented the "Guidelines on how to build effective Get-Out-The-Vote campaigns with young people for young people" they created during EU is YOU campaign targeting first-time voters in European elections.

The Conference is organized in partnership with the @comissao_europeia_pt, @parl.europeuportugal, @cnjportugal, @ipdj_ip and 10 international project partners, with the support of the #Erasmus+ program.

The study visit “Youth participatory budget for innovative education in the Orneta commune” took place in Lisbon from 2nd until the 6th of December. DYPALL Network hosted a group of 4 youth workers from the Polish organization Forum Animatorów Społecznych, to visit and explore practices and models of participatory budgets on national, state, regional and local level, with a particular focus on participatory budgets in schools.

This study visit aimed to provide the Polish youth workers with extensive examples and knowledge on Portuguese models of youth participation activities, with a special focus on participatory budgets for youth and in schools. During the study visit, the participants were able to explore a wide variety of different participatory budget models. They learned about the different levels of participatory budget, different approaches towards its establishment and possible problems that can occur within the process. #dypallnetwork #youthparticipation #forumanimatorówspołecznych #cascais

DYPALL Network is organising Youth Democracy Academy Conference on 10th December 2019, on the occasion of Human Rights Day, in Lisbon, Portugal.

The conference will bring together stakeholders and youth leaders from Greece, Slovakia, Latvia, Spain, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Sweden, Italy and Portugal to discuss and reflect on strategies to further develop work on voter incentive and the democratic participation of young people in the EU.

The Conference will be organized in partnership with the European Commission Representation in Portugal (@comissao_europeia_pt), European Parliament Office in Portugal (@parl.europeuportugal), Portuguese National Youth Council (@cnjportugal), Portuguese Institute for Youth and Sports (@ipdj_ip)and 10 international project partners, with the support of the Erasmus + program. It will be a part of the final event of the long-term "Youth Democracy Academy" project.
